Video Takedown Request
We respect your privacy. If a video featuring you has been posted to our social media or website and you'd like it removed, we'll take care of it.
Our commitment: If you appear in a video on our TikTok, Instagram, or website and you want it taken down, we will remove it. No questions asked. We aim to process all takedown requests within 48 hours.
How to Request a Takedown
Send us an email at hello@pizzacam.ca with the following information:
- Your name — so we know who is making the request.
- Link to the video — the URL of the TikTok, Instagram post, or page on pizzacam.ca where the video appears. If you don't have the link, describe the video (e.g., "I was wearing a red hoodie and doing a dance, posted around March 15").
- How to identify you in the video — a brief description of what you look like in the clip so we can confirm we're removing the right content (e.g., "I'm the person on the left in the blue jacket").
- What you'd like removed — whether you want the entire video taken down, or just a portion edited out (if possible).
Use the subject line: "Video Takedown Request"

What Happens Next
- We acknowledge your request — you'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours letting you know we've received it.
- We review and remove — we'll locate the video and remove it from all platforms where we posted it (TikTok, Instagram, and/or pizzacam.ca) within 48 hours.
- We confirm removal — once the video has been taken down, we'll email you to let you know it's done.
Important Notes
Third-party reposts. If someone else has reposted or shared the video from our accounts, we can only remove the version on our own accounts. We cannot control content that has been downloaded or re-shared by third parties. However, we can help you report it to the relevant platform if needed.
Cached content. After removal, the video may still appear temporarily in search engine caches or social media caches. This typically resolves within a few days as platforms update their systems.
No retaliation. Submitting a takedown request will not affect your ability to use the PizzaCam kiosk or purchase pizza. We appreciate you letting us know.
About the Pizza Cam
The Pizza Cam is a camera mounted on the PizzaCam kiosk at the University of Guelph. It records customers who voluntarily step up and perform while their pizza bakes. Signage at the kiosk indicates that the area is being recorded. Performing for the Pizza Cam is entirely optional — you can enjoy your pizza without interacting with the camera.
For more details on how we handle recordings and personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
